π₯ Flight Review
Flight Reviews / Biennial Flight Reviews (BFR) are required by the FAA every 24 months to act as Pilot In Command (PIC)
We can do the Flight Review in your aircraft, at your home airport.
π₯ Tailwheel Endorsement
What about adding a new endorsement to your logbook? Tailwheel endorsement is fun and affordable. And it will make you a better pilot, with more stick and rudder coordination.
π₯ Discovery Flights
No previous pilot or flight experience required for Discovery Flights.
π₯ Grass Runways
Let's explore grass runways in the DFW area! Backcountry flying, unimproved runway operations, soft/short field take off and landing.
π₯ Advanced Navigation with Overwater Operation - Refresher Training
You are planning a flight outside the continental US, for example, in Canada, France, or the Bahamas, and you want to review the air defense identification zone (ADIZ) crossing, flight plan, and flight planning, as well as the overwater operations, equipment, and survival gears?
Contact us, we have done several flights (Freeport BS, Nassau BS, Saint Pierre FR, St John's CA, etc...) with long overwater operation. We have completed water ditching and survival training and have seaplane experience (straight floats).
π₯ Safety Pilot
You are all current and legal, but doesn't feel safe flying by yourself?
Or you want to polish your night flying or navigation skills?
Or you dream of flying and crossing the border (Canada, France, Bahamas)?
Or you want to log flight time, wearing view limiting devices to simulate instrument conditions?
The safety pilot is here for you! A safety pilot is a rated pilot who helps maintain visual separation from other aircraft, clouds, and terrain. Contact us!
π₯ Full Training in Pilot Owned Aircraft (Single Engine Piston, tailwheel or nosewheel aircraft)
Note: Proof of airworthiness and insurance must be provided by the owner and will be reviewed before training
Sport Pilot License (SPL): the easiest and least restrictive certificate a student can obtain. Itβs meant for those pilots who wish to fly in light aircraft only at low altitudes in their local area. Sport pilots are limited to just one passenger and are prohibited from flying at night, above 10,000 ft, or in Class B, C, or D airspace. SPL only requires 20 hours of logged training time, and most applicants are not required to obtain an FAA medical certificate.
Recreational Pilot License (RPL): a good option for pilots who want to fly heavier aircraft than those used for sport pilot (SPL) training but who donβt necessarily want to move on to more advanced training. RPL requires at least 30 hours of logged flight time, including 15 hours of dual instruction. Recreational pilots are limited to flights less than 50 nautical miles from their departure airport, can only fly during the day, and must stay out of controlled airports (class B, C, and D airspace).
Private Pilot License (PPL): the most common pilot certificate! Because the training requirements are more intensive than that of the recreational or sport pilot, private pilots can do much more, like flying at night and at controlled airports. PPL is the entry door to the commercial pilot license (CPL) that allows pilots to be paid for their flying services.
π₯ JAR-FCL / EASA Pilot License
For pilots coming from overseas or planning to fly in the US, we can assist you with the steps to convert your European Pilot License into an FAA Pilot License!
We have been there, and we've done that! And we are located in the US.
π₯ Aerospace Mathematics
Review, rediscover, or learn mathematics, focused on aerospace! Way more fun than at school!
